We will be driving along the Wild Atlantic Way, which leads to the magnificent Cliffs of Moher. The Cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland’s most popular tourist attractions. This natural wonder is a must-visit for anyone visiting the country, as it has been featured in movies such as “Harry Potter” and “The Princess Bride”.
Upon arrival at the Cliffs of the Moher, you can see the Atlantic Ocean from various viewpoints. You can spend around two hours exploring the area. The interactive experience centre at the site features a large screen that shows videos of the underwater caves and birds-eye views from the cliffs.
Next, we will pass through Doolin, and Lisdoonvarna, known for their annual matchmaking festival. We will then visit the Dunguaire Castle and Kinvara, which are both located in the southeast section of Galway Bay. This castle was built in 1520 and is named after King Guaire, who was the ruler of Connacht at that time. It is one of the area’s most photographed structures.
