Covid-19 Policy, Airports Direct

Covid 19 Policy changes. At Airports Direct we are actively monitoring and following the WHO, HSE and NTA guidelines regarding the COVID 19 disease.  Please read below details what Airports Direct  is doing to help chauffeurs and guests stay safe during Covid-19 Pandemic.

Our chauffeurs and drivers always carry on rigorous hygiene standards including regular hand washing and sanitising.

Airports Direct chauffeurs and drivers always wear disposable masks and gloves, replaced after each journey.

Chauffeurs and drivers will refrain from physical contacts,  greeting a bow and smile rather than handshakes.

Our chauffeurs will avoid unnecessary interaction, as well as conversations, providing only important information.

Airports Direct  Chauffeurs and Drivers are strictly advised to follow the Government’s guidance on social distancing rules.

Chauffeur fleet protection procedure:

Only one chauffeur or driver is designated to each vehicle

Cars will not be exchanged between chauffeurs.

Antiseptic wipes and hand sanitizers will be offered in all vehicles.

Systematic  cleaning with anti-bacterial wipes in between each transfer.

Currently, magazines and newspapers will not be offered during the transfers.

Chauffeur Vehicle  Capacity

Our guests are not allowed to sit in the front passenger seat.

Mercedes-Benz  E-Class – 3 pax

Mercedes-Benz S-Class – 3 pax

Dear customers!

We kindly ask our guests  not to use our private and chauffeur services if they have  any symptoms of Covid-19 or have come into contact with anyone that has positively tested.

Dear customers, please take care of yourselves and protect our chauffeurs and drivers.

Face covering in vehicles.

Since Monday July 13th it is required by law to wear a face covering on private hire cars.

It does not affect little children or people with breathing difficulty.

If our guests do not have their own mask, drivers will be happy to provide guests  a mask.

Dublin Airport Chauffeurs Meeting Points

Dublin Airport have put in practice new meet & greet points for all Chauffeurs and Drivers.  All arriving travellers will now be meet & greet from the following locations (these details will be included on all booking confirmations sent to the passenger prior to their booking).

Terminal 1 Arrivals – exit baggage and make your way outside, through the arrivals hall to the main way out door, you will see a sign saying “Chauffeurs Meeting Point” on your right.

Terminal 2 Arrivals – exit baggage and make your way outside, through the arrivals hall  go past the yellow sculpture  you will come to a bridge where you will see a sign for the Chauffeurs Meeting Point.
